AquaPress fits onto a standard bin and uses fluid pressure to crush the garbage inside it. There is no motor, no electricity, and no noise. You press a lever, and the hydraulic circuit does the rest.
We built AquaPress to make waste management smarter. Our goal is to use the real science of hydraulic fluid pressure to help homes, restaurants, offices, and buildings deal with their trash more efficiently, spending less money on collection and producing less waste overall. We want to show that a simple, quiet, motor-free device can outperform expensive electric compactors, and that good engineering does not have to be complicated.

When you apply force to the input syringe, incompressible fluid carries that pressure directly to the output syringe, which drives a ram downward into the bin.
Because liquids cannot compress, none of that force is squandered. It transfers completely. The ram presses down on the garbage, flattening it, crushing boxes, and condensing loose material, freeing an enormous amount of space, up to five times the capacity of an ordinary bin.
The motion is smooth and quiet because no mechanical parts grind against one another. We call it Fluid-Glide Motion, and it is precisely what separates AquaPress from electric compactors that are loud, costly, and prone to failure.
